This gallery not only celebrates the diverse expressions of neurodivergent artists but also fosters an inclusive environment that values and promotes neurodiversity
The Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services (RCAAS) proudly showcases the artistic talents of neurodivergent individuals through its dedicated Art Gallery. This initiative provides a platform for artists affiliated with Rutgers — be it faculty, staff, students, or program participants — who identify as neurodivergent, to display their original 2D artworks.
Submissions are welcomed on an ongoing basis, with specific guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Artists can submit up to three pieces, preferably on paper or thin canvas suitable for standard 8" x 10" frames, which RCAAS provides. Accepted mediums include pencil, collage, watercolor, and other two-dimensional forms. While not all submissions can be displayed due to space constraints, each piece is thoughtfully considered, and artists are notified accordingly.
This gallery not only celebrates the diverse expressions of neurodivergent artists but also fosters an inclusive environment that values and promotes neurodiversity within the Rutgers community. By providing this platform, RCAAS underscores its commitment to amplifying the voices and talents of those on the autism spectrum and beyond.
