This AI-powered platform aims to revolutionize autism spectrum disorder (ASD) care by connecting families, clinicians, and researchers

The Thought Leadership & Innovation Foundation (TLI) recently celebrated a milestone in advancing autism care with the launch of the Autism Knowledge Gateway (AKG) at “An Evening to Advance Autism Care” in Vienna, VA. This AI-powered platform aims to revolutionize autism spectrum disorder (ASD) care by connecting families, clinicians, and researchers with critical insights from over 40,000 peer-reviewed medical articles.

The event brought together a dynamic mix of researchers, caregivers, advocates, and individuals with ASD, fostering collaboration and unity in the pursuit of improved healthcare outcomes. Shawn Murphy, TLI Vice President, described the launch as “not just a platform — it’s a movement,” highlighting the AKG’s potential to close the gap in care by equipping healthcare providers with evidence-based resources.

The evening featured compelling discussions moderated by TLI Chairman and CEO Bill Oldham, along with expert insights from leaders like Dr. Neena Haider of Harvard Medical School and heartfelt contributions from parents sharing their personal journeys. This collaborative energy underscored the AKG’s mission: to make autism care accessible, actionable, and effective.

Designed to address the high healthcare costs and challenges faced by autistic individuals, the AKG empowers stakeholders with knowledge to manage comorbid conditions and improve quality of life. TLI is also offering free pilot programs and welcomes donations to expand the AKG’s reach.
